Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo
While Executive Director at the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, conducted a complete analysis, design, and rewriting of the Chart of Accounts to improve transparency and clarity; grew successful monthly program (Art Hop) into vital contributor to community revitalization; partnered with for-profit organizations to launch a brand craft beer (Art Hops) with a portion of sales supporting the Council's programs; redesigned performance spaces to provide improved visitor engagement, and developed core coursework using visual art and improvisational theatre to teach medical students at the Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine about ambiguity, improving observational skills and bedside manner.
Grand Rapids Art Museum
While Chief Operating Officer at the Grand Rapids Art Museum, conducted a complete analysis, design, and rewriting of the Chart of Accounts to improve transparency and clarity; developed and delivered concept for the first ever partnership between a museum and a popular local television station to create the Media Arts Center.
